Zhang Xiong Art correspondence (Article/ Wang Sanxiu) famous Chinese landscape painter Lin Liangfeng accepted an interview with Zhang Xiong Art and authorized his artist digital asset management to Zhang Xiong Art on Jul.9,2015. Zhang Xiong Art will set up an individual artist official website database for Mr. Lin Liangfeng.
Lin Liangfeng, art name Yuan Ming, was born in 1962 in Xiamen. He graduated from Fujian Arts and Crafts School in1981 and taught in Fujian Arts and Crafts School and Academy of Arts and Crafts of Fuzhou University from 1981 to 2003. He studied with the famous artist Mr. Zhang Xiaohan and is good at Chinese landscape painting and Taoist and Buddhist figure painting. He is a member of Chinese Artists Association, the President of Xiamen Zhang Xiaohan Art Institute, the President of Chinese Landscape Painting Committee of Xiamen Artists Association, the Assistant Secretary-General of Landscape Painting Art Committee of Fujian Artists Association, a painter of Xiamen Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, the distinguished painter of Fuzhou Academy of Painting and the Vice-President of Xiamen Master Hong Yi Research Institute. Lin Liangfeng have participated in many major art exhibitions like 1st, 2nd and 4th Contemporary Chinese Landscape Painting Exhibition, 1st National Young Traditional Chinese Painters Exhibition and National Famous Chinese Painters Invitational Exhibition and won awards for many times. He used to hold individual exhibitions in Nanping, Fuzhou and Xiamen. Published works collections include Lin Liangfeng’s Ink Wash Paintings, Lin Liangfeng’s Artwork, Sketches of Buddhist Sites, and Images Of Guanyin Bodhisattva. His works also used be published in dictionaries and collections like Chinese Artists, Young Traditional Chinese Painters In China, Chinese Artists Disc, Works Collection Of 1st National Chinese Painting Exhibition, Chinese Painting Selections Of Chinese High Art Colleges and Contemporary Chinese Fine Arts.

Lin Liangfeng seems to have a predestined relationship with Buddhism. He used to lodge in South Putuo Temple in Xiamen for three years to study Buddhism and assist Monk Miaozhan and Monk Benru to establish the first Buddhist Charity Foundation in the country. As Vice-President and Assistant Secretary-General of the Foundation, he has made all efforts to help the weak and the poor. He pays attention to paintings of Buddhist genre and compares painting styles and composition characteristics in different historical periods.
